Class 2 – Floral

Flowers must be botanically correct.  A list of common or Latin names of flowers and foliage used must be supplied alongside the exhibit.  Without the list the exhibit does not meet the schedule requirements and will not be judged.

2C Open: Floral – Hedgerow

A display of flowers and foliage which may be found in a hedgerow.  The display must include at least two types of botanically correct hedgerow flowers, each type with its associated bud(s) and foliage.  Berries and nuts may also be used if desired.  The hedgerow display must represent a realistic seasonal snapshot – that is they must all naturally flower at the same time of the year.  To be made from any edible mediums.  Cotton, tape, wire and stamens are allowed.  Artificial decoration is allowed for display purposes only and must not predominate.  For example, artificial moss may be used in the display.  To be presented how the competitor wishes.

To fit within a maximum base area of 14″/35cm square.
